So as kids, it was only natural that Transformers was a fir, favourite amongst the WBG team (you may have noticed from some of our other blog posts).What more could you want from a cartoon other than fast cards, robots and combat. If you know about that scene on the dam with Optimus and Megatron battling it out with a laser axe and ball and chain, then you know it was the best film before the likes of the Green Mile and co ever coined ‘classic’ status.

So while many have created fully functioning cars with Transformer paint jobs, one Turkish company has made a big step towards designing a house hold Bumblebee for every Transformer’s fan to enjoy on a daily basis.

The company is called Letvision and is based in the Turkish capital Ankara and whilst the rest of the country has been caught up in government coups and the threat of ISIS from neighboring Syria, they’ve been hard at work creating an actual transformer.

Yes, it’s a fully transforming BMW 3 Series in what looks like the car park of a local garden center and it is pretty cool to say the least.

Apparently they have a few of these kicking about but this is the first to actually drive and transform on its own. Ok it’s no Ironhide and by the time it had rocked up and transformed, Starscream would have probably already blown it up and been home in time for dinner, but it’s a pretty good effort.

We even appreciate the attempt to communicate, although we’re not sure if its Turkish or a native robotic tounge, but we couldn’t understand it either way.

Letvision do plan on selling these to the public and they will no doubt be expensive. However, anyone actually in the car is sure to be crushed to death so they probably won’t appeal to anyone other than the extreme Transformer collector.
