At Walton Bridge Garage we’ve worked on a wide array of vehicles but there are those that you won’t find in your average garage. They’re also the ones that kids and adults alike dream of – thanks to recent franchise reboots.

We’re not talking about your million pound super cars, in fact it’s something better than a Bugatti or a Lamborghini, and it would have to be due to those driving it. Yes we’re talking about the vehicle of choice for superheroes and in particular Batman. Why? Because the revamped version of the Bat-mobile went on show at the Licensing Expo in Las Vegas and it’s pretty cool to say the least.

It won’t hit screens for another year or so when Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice premieres at the end of March 2016, but we can’t wait to see it on the big screen.

Fans of Bruce Wayne and his multi-millionaire armoury, which has made Batman such a hit in the latest trilogy, might be sad to see his military acquired Tumbler and its custom bat paint job disappear. This said it is technically a new start for the Batman as he faces off against Superman of all people, so why not freshen up his ride.

The new Bat-mobile is still somewhat Tumbleresque but also harks back to the Tim Burton era of the franchise and a more sporty style, which was still pretty cool in its own right! In fact it’s almost like someone has played a game of chicken with Bat-mobiles old and new, but no one bottled it, resulting in both vehicles combining at speed creating the latest four wheeled offering.

If you ask us, Batman is suffering from a slight superiority complex taking on Superman. I mean you can have all the high-tech kit in the world, but unless you have some Kryptonite, it’s likely you’re going to get an ass kicking.

From the looks of things, the new Bat-mobile is equipped with some handy James Bond like gadgets to help him out – a harpoon, spiked coils and sonic repellent amongst others. But it might as well be shooting out Skittles and fluffy kittens, because it will take more than that to stop the Man of Steel.

About now we would run you through the opposition in Superman’s vehicle of choice. But who in their right mind would fork out for insurance, an MOT and road tax when you can fly.
