Annual Service 60 point check

Checks carried out:

1. Fit floor mat
2. Drain oil & refill
3. Replace oil filter
4. Check for general oil leaks – report serious leaks
5. Check for timing belt replacement interval & report
6. Check radiator condition & security & report
7. Check condition of radiator cap
8. Check coolant hoses for leaks & condition, check securing clips for tightness & report
9. Visually inspect expansion tank for leaks & cap security
10. Check condition & tension of serpentine/Auxiliary belts (not timing/cam belt)
11. Replace Air filter
12. Report if spark plugs are due to be changed (visually & by mileage)
13. Report if brake fluid requires replacement
14. Check & record coolant strength/ top up as required or recommended replacement
15. Check fuel cap condition
16. Check visual conditions of fuel lines
17. Check clutch operation
18. Check driveshaft gaiters & report
19. Check prop/driveshaft/joints & grease nipples where fitted
20. Check operation of exterior lights
21. Check horn
22. Check diesel heater plug indicator operation where fitted
23. Check battery security & lubricate terminals
24. Visually inspect HT leads /distributer cap/coil pack(s) (where applicable)
25. Check/top-up PAS fluid reservoir
26. Check steering components for wear & corrosion
27. Check suspension components
28. Check steering rack gaiters condition & report
29. Check wheel bearings for excessive noise &/or play
30. Check shock absorber condition & report any leaks as necessary
31. Grease steering/suspension
32. Inspect exhaust system for leaks, supports & corrosion
33. Check brake pads for wear & report
34. Check brake discs for wear & report
35. Check brake callipers for fluid leaks & security
36. Check brake load sensing valve for operation &/or leaks
37. Visually check brakes hydraulic system for leaks & report
38. Check parking brake linkages & travel & report
39. Check brake discs/drums for wear, corrosion & pitting & report
40. Check brake servo operation
41. Check for warning lamps & report
42. Carry out computer diagnostic check & report
43. Check tyre size & fitted according to side wall instructions
44. Check tyre condition & tread depth & report
45. Check & adjust tyre pressures as necessary
46. Check windscreen wipers (front & rear) condition & report
47. Check windscreen washer operation & top-up if required
48. Check windscreen for chips/cracks
49. Check wing & interior mirrors condition
50. Check number plate condition
51. Check pollen/cabin filter condition & report
52. Check Air conditioning operation
53. Check all seat belts
54. Lubricate all door hinges
55. Lubricate bonnet catch
56. Check fuel filter condition (if applicable) & report
57. Add fuel additive
58. Reset service indicator (subject to data)
59. Stamp service history record
60. Wash & Vac service
